You Are God’s Dwelling Place

Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

In the wilderness, the pillar of cloud made God’s presence visible to His people. When the cloud descended at the tent of meeting, the people worshiped, and Moses spoke with the Lord.

Through Jesus Christ, we have been brought into a precious relationship with God. His Spirit dwells within His people. You are not merely someone who visits a place of worship. You belong to the Lord, and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Let that truth settle in your heart. The God who created heaven and earth has chosen to make His dwelling in His people. Your life matters deeply to Him.

This changes how you approach an ordinary day. Prayer does not have to wait until Sunday. You can speak to your Father while preparing breakfast, driving to work, or sitting awake in the night. He hears you in the places where no one else sees your tears.

His indwelling presence also calls you to honor Him with your body, your words, and your choices. You belong to the One who purchased your freedom through Christ. Caring for what He has entrusted to you becomes an expression of worship.

You may not always feel a strong emotion when you pray. God’s faithfulness is greater than a passing feeling. Return to what His Word says: His Spirit dwells in you.

Walk through today with gratitude and reverence. You are loved, you belong to God, and you have access to Him.

Prayer: Father, thank You for making me Your dwelling place. Help me honor You in my thoughts, words, and actions. Make me more aware of Your presence throughout this day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
