Speak to the Mountain
Scripture: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”— Mark 11:23
Mountains can take many forms. A mountain may be a sickness, a financial burden, a broken relationship, an impossible situation, or a battle that has followed your family for generations. Whatever it looks like, Jesus teaches us that mountains are not moved by fear—they are moved by faith.
Faith does not deny the existence of the mountain. Faith simply refuses to believe that the mountain has the final word. The circumstances may speak loudly, but God’s Word speaks with greater authority. There will be moments when you must decide whose report you will believe. Will you allow what you see to govern your heart, or will you anchor yourself in what God has said?
Faith must become more than something you quietly possess; it must become something you boldly express. Jesus said to speak to the mountain. Fill your heart with the Word until the promises of God become stronger within you than the fear surrounding you. Then declare what God has said over your health, family, future, and calling.
You may not see an immediate change, but do not surrender your confidence. Continue believing, praying, and speaking according to the Word. The God who has performed miracles before is still performing miracles today. Your mountain is not greater than His power.
Prayer: Father, strengthen my faith today. Teach me to believe Your Word above every circumstance and every negative report. I refuse to allow fear or doubt to rule my heart. In the name of Jesus, I speak to every mountain standing before me and command it to move according to Your will. Fill my heart and mouth with Your promises, and let my life become a testimony of Your miracle-working power. Amen.
