“Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.”- Matthew 15:30
Devotional: Faith is never meant to stop with us. The crowds in Galilee believed Jesus could heal, so they carried the broken to His feet. Some could not reach Him without help. Someone had to lift them, guide them, and make room for them near Jesus. Their faith became a bridge through which others encountered His mercy.
This reflects the mission of Faith Pleases God Church: preach the gospel, teach the Word, and heal the broken. The church is not merely a building; the church is you and me. Wherever we go, we carry this mission. Brokenness may be physical, emotional, mental, relational, spiritual, or financial, but Jesus remains the Healer. By His blood we are redeemed, and by His stripes we are healed.
Your testimony can awaken faith in someone else. The miracle God has done in you becomes an invitation for another person to believe. Even while you are waiting for your own answer, you can pray, encourage, share Scripture, and bring others into the presence of Jesus. Believers do not merely discuss what God can do; they compassionately make room for the hurting to meet Him.
Only believe—and let that belief move through love. Trust Jesus for your household, your church, and your community. Carry the broken to His feet, knowing that the same Christ who met you is able to meet them.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, make me a carrier of faith and compassion. Use my words, prayers, testimony, and service to bring broken people to You. I believe You still save, heal, deliver, and restore. Let my life fulfill Your mission. Amen.
Practical Challenge: Reach out to one person who is hurting. Share a promise from Scripture, ask how you can pray, and take time to pray with them in faith today.
