Answers and Strength for the Journey

Scripture: “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” —Jeremiah 33:3

Devotional: When we need answers, our first response is often to search everywhere except the presence of God. We analyze every possibility, ask countless people for advice, and become overwhelmed by questions we cannot resolve. Yet God invites us to call upon Him.

In His presence, distractions lose their importance and what truly matters becomes clear. Sometimes God answers the question we are asking. At other times, He reveals something deeper that we did not realize we needed to know. His presence gives us wisdom, corrects our perspective, and prepares us for what is ahead.

Pastor Kevin shared that when he and Pastor Veronica began serving as senior pastors, the church urgently needed $75,000. Instead of allowing fear to control him, he chose to worship, pray, prepare to preach, and remain faithful to his assignment. By Friday, the ministry received a $750,000 check. God demonstrated that they did not have to create their own way; they could trust Him.

God’s answer may not always arrive in the manner or timing we expect, but His presence gives us strength while we wait. He holds us with His victorious right hand and reminds us that we are not finished fighting the good fight of faith.

Be faithful with what God has placed in your hands. You have His Word, His promises, His presence, and the blood of Jesus. You are not empty or abandoned. The One who called you will strengthen you and faithfully lead you forward.

Prayer: Father, I bring every unanswered question and overwhelming need into Your presence. Silence fear and help me hear Your voice clearly. Strengthen me to remain faithful while I wait, trusting that You are my source and provider. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Practical Challenge: Write down your greatest unanswered question. Spend time worshiping before asking God about it. Record any Scripture, direction, or encouragement He places upon your heart.
